Architectural / Abstract Imagery

Traveling through Italy and seeing so many beautiful things, I was particularly struck by ancient ruins as I’m sure many are. I wanted to remember not just the overall appearance of these structures, but also the feeling they gave me when standing nearby or inside. I realized that part of that feeling could be remembered in a textural way. The cracked, half painted and faded walls, the stone and marble feel of columns and their cool colors against warm reds, oranges, andMediterranean blues. This portfolio contains oil paintings on etched plastered wood panels that are semi-abstract representations of those colors and textures as I remember them.

Please re-visit this Portfolio for upcoming additional images.

All of the paintings in this portfolio as well as, all the other portfolios on this site are for sale. Click on image info under each painting for pricing and other information.  Please feel free to contact me with any additional inquiries.
